The best mornings, these days, are when Kath and I wake up together, enjoy our coffee and tea in the kitchen and have a chance to talk before rushing off to work. And, we get to watch the kitty in the window across the driveway...
The occupants of that apartment have taken the screen off of the window so that the kitties can stick their heads outside and survey the roof... which is often the morning gym for 2-3 large feisty squirrels.
I'm waiting for the morning that one of the kitties gets too excited and runs out onto the roof after one of those squirrels.
